Who could afford LFC?

There was talk about a £3bn bid which was rejected but how real was that? And the identity of the bidder still remains secret. Beyond a state I really can't think a billionaire who would want to buy us.
The mega billionaires in the US have no natural affinity to Football.
The Qatari family have PSG, and Abu Dhabi has Man City. The Dubai Royal Family wanted us but for what ever reason it fell through. I've read somewhere they think the price tag for LFC is out of their reach.
Could the Kuwaiti be wanting to get into football?
Would we want the Saud family owning the club?

The problem with all of them is that they are proper unstable owners who could fuck us up. But if we were to get one, I would go all the way and go for Saudi. Lose it all, if we do go down that route. Also Saudi could afford us.

Last time we were on sale for bargain approximate price of 300 million (once under Moores, and when G&H loans were pulled) - the options were G&H, Mill Capital (some hedge fund friends of G&H), Peter Lim, DIC (which appears to have not a lot of money), FSG.

Why would it be any different now given that FSG won't sell for a billion or two at least? For all my complaints on the lack of spending, definitely have FSG over the rest. They are miles better than the rest of the options.

This is the reason why the arguments for being sold to a better owner don't make much sense. either you go for human rights abuses or you settle for owners with less financial clout but at least they are relatively morally clean. The only stretchable exception is if we could get a Roman Abrohimovic type, a billionaire with a lot of money but whose morals and past arent so corrupt (although I'm sure there are some skeletons in Romans closet).

From what I have understood the club has taken the choice to invest more in the infrastructure of the club rather than the player acquisitions. Surely when this is done there will be a payoff for this and the club will be able to start transferring funds to transfers in the near future. With all this said and done thank god we got Klopp otherwise the fume would be so intense.

Woland could afford us

I've seen one peek at Woland's ownership. He thought, well, we could deliver amazing quality, but that would require a significant investment. This frozen dough will appease my drunk, undiscerning customer base just as well.

Isn't that what we're already doing?

Mmmmmmm ....

Roman Abramovich admitted he made his fortune by bribing Russian politicians.

After they sell all the new American helicopters and missile systems they’ve acquired, perhaps they could. Would earn them respectability and access they crave. And at least we know PL’s “fit and proper” test won’t be a problem since they don’t seem to mind public beheadings or subjugation of women.

Football is haraam in Taliban circles.

What’s with the fucking Jew references in here? Fuck off with that shit. Have a word with yourself.
That the Taliban don't like Jews? it's hardly a revelation, like many extremist groups they have huge issues with Jews. North London has a large Jewish population that loves football.

Back to the original question. Why is the list so small. $3 billion or so is a lot, but lets be honest, there are lots of multi billionaires out there, many of whom aren't American or Middle Eastern. Right now Leicester and Villa's owners look better than ours, and they're not exactly on the Forbes top 20.

The pool is always going to be small if you're looking for a buyer who sees buying a football club as a passion or a vanity project (that comes with its own danger). £3bn + and throw in a transfer kitty of 100m+, how many billionaires have the personality/willingness?
btw Villa's owners are American and Middle Eastern. Leicester's owner is Thai, however, plaudits go to their recruitment team finding gems for £30m and under.
