Where are they now?

Some others;

Nathan Ecclestone (who had a go at me on Twitter because the truth hurts) is now playing at Partick Thistle.
Charles Itandje is playing for some Turkish side called Torku Konyaspor
Sebastian Leto is playing at a Serie B team Calcio Catania
And the strangest one, Andrea Dossena is playing for Leyton Orient

What did you say to Ecclestone on twitter?

Im watching Malaga v Levante on Sky Sports 5 now. El Zhar up front for Levante.

And Momo Sissoko on the fucking bench for Malaga! The one eyed wonder. I thought he was dead.

Had a semi decent career but Hleb is now playing for Torku Konyaspor, some middle of the road Turkish team.
While Kerlon, remember him? That Brazilian kid who was famous for the seal dribble? He's now plying his trade for Fujieda MYFC in the Japanese third division.
Bizarrely, from 2005 - 2012, he played for five clubs and only made fifteen appearances. Fifteen appearances, seven years, five clubs, oh, and only one goal in that whole time.

He won me the Champions League for Brighton and scored 42 goals a year on FM 2004. Shame his career went so downhill afterwards. You can only blame the inferior managers.

Great thread

Bruno - I had forgotten about him, so much expectation.

Kerlon - wow I thought that guy would still be playing in Italy at milan or something.

Le tallec - he really was hyped up to the max, what a let down.

Where is Harry kewell these days? I noticed he scored for Australia the other day, I was in a bar and nearly fell off my stool when I saw it was him. I thought I had drank too many changs. I got kewell put on the back of my new Liverpool shirt and I was that disappointed with him I binned it.

I hope we are not having this same conversation about can, origi and marko in about 5 seasons from now!

You may have had one too many jars, mills. Kewell hasn't played for Australia since 2012 and retired from club football last year after playing an injury plagued season for Melbourne Heart, now Melbourne City.

Ryad Boudebouz, once a highly rated youngster, is now kicking around with Bastia FC in Ligue 1. Also playing for Bastia FC is Sebastien Squillaci, Brandão and our very own Lord of Frodsham, Djibril Cissé.

He put up some self righteous bullshit about how people shouldn't be doing a job just to earn money to survive, and should do something they loved, "whats the point of surviving if you're not going to live" or something along those lines. I then reminded him that most people in life aren't privileged enough to be given a free pass to earn lots of money like him, and have to do whatever job they can get to make money, so he shouldn't judge until he's had to hold down a proper job of his own to live by. That seemed to annoy him because apparently he used to earn £90 a week at the youth academy for a couple of years, which means he knows all about it. He just seems like another one of these idiots who seems to take their deep thoughts and life epiphanies from the lyrics of rap / r&b songs.
