we will not overtake united in my lifetime. i'm certain of it. i don't know how we've managed to waste so much money on shite over the last few years but it has really damaged us at a time when the league was drastically changing.

How far ahead of us are they? Not counting FA, league cup, charity shields, one league title. Just one title. We are still ahead of them in Europe. I think we will.

I think Fergie's retirement will have more of an emotional impact on them as a whole regardless of who his replacement is. His replacement will suffer because of the inevitable comparisons and they'll have big boots to fill.

Looking at the Scummers only Rooney is world class on his day and Chicharito has the potential to step up. They'll have to dip into serious funds to step up in class. Its no secret that they arent capable of competing on the European stage with what they have.
