What's the darkest thing you've heard at a footie match?

On Sunday at Goodison, Winston Palacios was down injured after the tackle which resulted in a penalty, and the paramedics were rushing on with a stretcher.

"Give him the gas, forget the air" boomed out from behind me.

My cousin went to White Hart Lane with Everton, and for the majority of the first half Everton's fans were hissing, and at half time Nik asked what it was about and a lad turned to him and said "Jews arnt they, gas chambers".

Pretty bad.

Or

FA Cup derby at Anfield last season I was in the lower centenery and Pienaar went down in front of us after a tackle holding his knee, a 40 year old looking man in front of me shouted "Get back to Sowetto you black cunt". Thought that was pretty bad.

I have heard the hissing at anfield when we played Spurs.

The darkest thing I heard? 'bring on smicer FFS' *shudders*

Not really dark, but again at Woodison Park;

Gary Mabbutt (diabetic) gets hit on the head with a bag of sweets:

'Eat dem yer fucken spastik'

Kinda dark Abel Xavier used to play for us, and he fucked up another pass..the guy in front of me said they should fucking call him 'dis-a-bel Xavier'

A fellow red wished that Lucas would get really bad aids and that his family would have to watch his body wither away to nothing and then he would die.

This was in a pub and not a match as I am 100% plastic.

He was sitting behind me in the boozer and it took a lot of effort not to turn around and say something to him. I just wrote him off as a grade 'A' cunt and left it. What type of person says something like that? Seriously.

Someone looking out for the best interests of our football club?

Ha. Possibly. I'd rather we just transferred him tbh.
A bad illness and then death is a bit much just for being completely shit at football.

Mid 80's I lived in london and went to watch a different team each weekend.

I was at Stamford Bridge in the main stand (with The Shed End to my right for those that went to SB in the 80's) watching them play Sunderland who had a black centre back called Bennett.

A monster of a guy (about 6'6" and 20 stone) sat beside me just before kick off and surprisingly introduced himself to me (he was at the game on his own too), he was visiting from Tralee and although he didn't know much about "soccer" he thought it would be interesting. His first question was "Can you explain the offside rule to me?!

Anyway, within a few minutes of the start Bennett was in possession and a lad behind us starts making monkey noises and follows it up with "fuck off n*****r".

The lad beside me rose to his feet, turned around and picked this racist twat up by his jacket (and he wasn't exactly small) and in an aggressive but very calm Tralee voice said "We're trying to watch the game, if you open your mouth again I'll punch yer face in" - We never heard a peep from him again. Loads of people around murmered their approval of the Tralee guys actions and the racist twat must have felt a right knob.

"Fuck off Babel, you black cunt" was the most recent darkest moment I've heard. At Upton Park this year.

Before that, I've heard plenty, with lots of it coming from our own fans at away games in London.

That is class.

Not really dark, but quite amusing.....

Was at Upton Park watching a Scum game some years back..... The crowd were singing 'Brookln DiCanio' (to that famous Paolo tune) everytime Beckham got near the ball.

[quote author=Brendan link=topic=37773.msg1009289#msg1009289 date=1260288799]
That is disgraceful!

Brendan thinks it was disgraceful that he didn't think of this first.

I worked at Goodison when Everton beat Arse (Rooney scored a wonder goal). The lad who I worked with is a typical Evertonian, and spent the whole game shouting abuse at the Arse players, some of it racist.
We were stood behind 2 x St John Ambulance fellas, one of them looked almost disabled.
And then Sol Campbell (I think) snapped Rooney in half. The crowd seemed to go silent as my mate screams "fuck off you black spear chucking ......." (I wont print it all, it was fucking horrendous).
The whole of the Gwladys Street end looks around towards us, and my mate just points at this little St Johns Ambo man who was a cripple, and shook his head.

I saw Middlesbrough against Crystal palace at Ayresome park about twenty years ago, standing on the middlesbrough kop, one of the palace defender got a nasty head blow and was knocked out cold legs twicthing the lot in the Middlesbrough end and the crowd were chanting " die die die you bastard die you bastard" ad infinitum all the time he was down and while they were stretchering him off.

Horrible place.

Ha ha that is shameful.

My mate once walked in a very handicapped manner up to disabled gate into Croke Park once just to skip the long queue the regular gates.

Worse was when he got in he turned and screamed. "In your face mother f*ckers!" at the regular queue that I was at the back off.

He then ran off laughing.
