What would be a successful season?

Ok so we've seen our side half a dozen times now and we are looking superb for the first 60 mins or so in every game.

We've swept aside the champions, Arsenal and a real threat for the top four in Chelsea.

What would you be happy with at the end of the season?

For me I think it would

Top 3 and a cup final but I'm getting p*ssed off with losing so many cup finals in a row.

It's about time we won one.

Expectations have, and I think rightly having seen our play / players and that of our main competitors, risen.
It's a long season though, however having already played some tough matches and with not having any Euro games I'm now hopeful of more.

I agree with the Count, and Oncey. But at the same time - look how far you realistic types have fallen - I am sure with lesser teams in the 90's when we were falling from the top and our players were not that well behaved (and we all knew it too) - we were still expecting to win the league. I am not for changing on this - every season we have to believe we will win the damn thing. Right now I truly believe that the only thing standing in our way of winning the league is not our defense because all defenses are fragile without two full time holding midfielders ( yes the days of Rrafa, and Jose), no the only thing that stands in our way are fragile minds and inconsistency. These things can be rectified.
