According to today's Mirror, Liverpool are one of a number of Premier League clubs keen on signing Kaka, if the sale of the club goes through next week.

The Brazilian striker has struggled at Real Madrid since his £56m move from AC Milan, and has now been linked with a possible £35m switch to Liverpool, Manchester City or Chelsea.

However, it is a lot more likely that he will be loaned back to his former club Sao Paolo as soon as he recovers from knee surgery.

The Chavs MIGHT have an outside chance of getting him because of Ancelotti, but my guess is he'll either go back to Italy or home to Brazil.

Ha ha, there's going to be a lot of this kind of bollocks speculation if we're taken over - at least until it becomes obvious that we won't actually have THAT much money to spend.

If we have *that* kind of money to spend, Kaka would be one of the last players I'd buy

X2

I'd like 3 players with that money please

As much as I love Kaka there are younger/better players to be had for 35m playing in postions we need improving on more then the AM position.
Plus don't these new owners not like spending big money on older players where we might not get much return on our investment?

Yeah, but apparently they're also the type to just buy one big name player every season.

Serious?
That's not going to be good, we need a few of the suckers.

Hopefully they've got a different game plan for 'soccer'.

'Lucas, back to Konchesky, across to Lucas again, Poulsen now, looks up, knocks it towards Kaka, ball goes out of play. Kaka looks at the heavens and strokes his Hitler tache'

heh, that's assuming that Poulsen or Lucas make a pass beyond the halfway line.

It's embarrassing enough having players like Gerrard and Torres having to play with cunts like, Crapsen, Lucarse and Konchesky, do we really want to inflict that pain on another top class footballer?

I broke this news to you all yonks ago!

If off some bullshit rumour from a LFConline, which the Mirror has deemed a credible enough source.

A few seasons ago I started a rumour on a forum that Pompey were going to sign this Aussie striker (Archie Thompson) from Melbourne.

It ended up on:

talkSPORT Radio
sportinglife.com
skysports.com
some Pompey fansite
BBC World Service - some sports segment hosted by Russell Fuller

lol. Good work

I would like to see some Power, Speed and Technical ability in our midfield. We only have one player in our entire squad who can provide that. He has been the best fucking player on the planet, as far as i'm concerned, for the last 6 years. A lot of what Torres achieved is due to this man....the evidence is irrefutable.

Get him some support for fucks sake. We don't need a player who plays the same role he does.

Our midfield needs a major revamp. Too often we complain that our defense bypasses the midfield, but a lot of that is down to how shit our midfield is.

I hope we are not linked with another AM for at least two more years.

Hahahahahaha nice one Roops!

Where would Kaka play? We have Gerrard and Joe Cole in that position.

We need a partner for Torres and fullbacks.

I wouldn't worry about it mate.

I'd take a punt on Adebayor. A cunt he may be but a footballing talent he is.

Exactly the kind of striking partner Torres needs.

Its unlikely that Citeh would sell to us. However they may not view us as rivals for a CL spot and its unlikely that we'll be so that may count in our favour.
