First the Lukaku comments, and now this? Is he trying to become an enemy with his own fans?

Source: Echo.

[article]Koeman, who took charge at Goodison Park this summer, thinks Liverpool can sustain their impressive start – but also stops short of calling them favourites.

“It’s still too early to say who will be the favourites, but I have been impressed by Liverpool so far,” Koeman said.

“Maybe that is not what you might expect the Everton manager to say, but they have been playing some very good football and deserve to be at the top. They have goals in their team and this is what all successful sides need.

“Of course they can be champions this season, they have a good chance, but they are not the only contenders.”[/article]

The man both played for and managed all of Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV in his home country. They are the three biggest clubs by far with all of the rivalries that go with it. He genuinely could not give a fuck about petty shite from a small club and it's superb.

He also added that they were soundly beaten five nil by Chelsea whereas we did extremely well against them.

Bluenoses will be even more bitter than usual. Bless.

Clearly when we sent all off that money down the M3 we did so with a special mission in mind for Mr Koeman. Nah actually, scrap that, that would imply we gave a shit about our little neighbours.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman admits he'd take the Holland job.

Koeman only left Southampton to take over at Goodison Park in June but says if his country came calling he would not turn them down.

Koeman told Fox Sports: “Coaching Netherlands remains one of my ambitions. But I think every coach would like that.
“If I get the chance to coach Netherlands, I would like to take that chance"
“I was keen to take the job in 2014 after my time with Feyenoord and I felt the time was right. They went for Hiddink instead and will have had their reasons for it.
“Time has shown that was not the best choice. But I do not hold a grudge against anyone over it. I would not turn down the job because of what happened in 2014. This is all in the past now."

I wonder if he's got to Goodison, been promised the earth by this new owner and been absolutely shit on? It seems like a conscious effort to sound like he doesn't give a fuck.

He was equally blunt and honest at Southampton, but it would be ace if Moshri was already being outed as a bullshitting fraud.
