What do you want from this season?

Top 4, good showing in the CL with at least one memorable European night at Anfield to go with countless others, and a domestic cup win would be nice.

I want Rodgers to show us that he learned something from last season where we got dicked by teams parking the bus.

It will happen a lot more this season and could become a blueprint of how to play us if we display an inability to temper our style when approaching maximum frustration.

Other than that I like the cut of @studsup gib.

The double over manure, le arse and those chav cunts.
Top 3 finish in the league. To get out of our group in Europe.
To come within 10 goals of our goal tally last season and to concede 10 fewer goals or more than last season.

We heard this story a lot last season too - they try, it doesn't work. It's the same for City/Chelsea/United/Arsenal too.
Chelsea did it spectacularly well, Froggy. And Rodgers showed immense tactical naivité in dealing with it.

At least 4th in PL. Higher will be good. A good run in CL. Don't think we can get anything else.

If the paper cup is three quarter full I shall drink it on celebrations. Mine is half empty now.

To finish in the top 4 is absolutely vital. I'd take that above anything else so that we can continue to grow as a club.

Beyond that you want to see the young players continue to progress and this side under Rodgers continuing to take shape.

For this one season, due to the payment changes, maybe I'd agree, but I never what to get into the Arsenal situation where coming fourth every season is acceptable.

Not so long ago there was this awful sinking feeling that we were done as a top club. Last season changed that but that's just one season.

It's a little early to start poo-pooing finishing 4th. Not in the least because bar a couple seasons, it's been our level for the last 20 odd years.

I'm not poo pooing finishing 4th, I'm poo pooing not winning trophies. Even through the tough times we were still winning more trophies than most. I think since the turn of the century, only two clubs have more silverware than us, United and Chelsea.

Times change, the top players are now going to the rich clubs as soon as they break through. It's becoming more and more difficult for any 2nd tier club to break into the monopoly of the ultra-rich as far as attracting the top players is concerned (Real, Barca, Bayern, PSG, Monaco, City & Chelsea) and this obviously impacts on their chances of landing a trophy - unless the League Cup counts. Our best chance is the FAC but strangely we don't have the best of records in that either.

1. I would like to win the Premiership without Suarez.
2. Concede less goals and score more.
3. Drub the Gooners, Bitters, Chavs and Scummers (add Spurs in there)
