What crime has this lad committed?

He's never actually done anything decent for the first team when he has been given a chance, and none of our last three managers seem to rate him. Even though our latest one at least seems to trust youth. I wish people would stop going on as if he was our saviour, he's obviously not good enough.
Yes, he's probably better than Maxi, Cole whoever, but I doubt he'd make any difference to how rubbish we were tongiht.

I actually thought Spearing did change the game when he came on, he came deep collected the ball, gave a few passes and upped the tempo. Maybe the latter was a coincidence due to it getting close to the end of the game, but our best chances came after Spearing came on.

Sorry, I though you meant change as in attitude. Obviously he didn't change the result. The only players I think that could have done that for us are Gerrard and Suarez.

Had he played Pacheco and we still lost I would have said that we at least threw everything we had at them. Now I'm left asking what if?

He's played 14 games in total for Liverpool in two seasons.
Started 2 games (Carling cup and Europa League).
Sure he hasn't scored but he just turned 20 in January.
