Weak lineup from Klopp. I could understand if he put some senior players on the bench but he hasn't.
Anyone who bought a ticket today will be pissed off that they're playing the reserves.
Might not be a fair game to judge him if the midfield can't get the ball to him. Or Benteke can't use the ball he supplies. It's going to be like midgets vs giants in the middle of the park. I'm confident of Allen's and Brannagan's ability to scrap, close spaces and fight for the second ball, but we're definitely not getting to the first (aerial) one!
Still out injured (or recovering).

With Caulker in there we might not concede from corners for once.
Also, having all those reserves in there makes the game more interesting imo.
But I do agree with others here that the bench could be stronger.
Cos we're really short on strikers, & he scored last week, so best case scenario he is amazing & we give in to his demands, average scenario he is decent & improves whatever fee he'll fetch for us, worst case he can't do any worse than most of our strikers can.

That's still an 80 million quid team. Probably cost about the same as west ham.
The defense should not be any weaker than Stoke game and in attack Fimino-Milner-Lallana vs Benteke-Teixeira-Ibe is a wash. Only midfield is slightly weaker with Stewart instead of a senior player and Allen and Brannagan possibly physically weaker than their West Ham opponents.
That might be what we paid for that team but I'm not sure that's what it's worth.
With all the pessimism here now, I think the shock lever has been triggered.

Senior team played 120 min on Tue; and have already lost twice to WHU this season . That could be why he's gone with this team. Good to see Tex starting again.

Our best chance is if they approach the game thinking the same thing.
I'm thinking the kids will be trying extra hard to prove they can do what the first team side couldn't, which may well give them a bit of a boost.
