36 Million Spent per yer on wages

I would dread to see our wage bill.

To be honest SG I just thought it was signing on fee - not sure why - you're probably right about it being the transfer fee though.

I just got it emailed to me, dunno where it came from or anyhting like that.

Is the signing on fee not the transfer fee?
[/quote]

No, transfer fees go to the club, signing on fees go to the players (and sometimes the agents get a cut of that as well as their actual fee).

I know, I mean the amounts look like transfer fees not signing on fees

If you multiply the first number by 52 you get the 2nd number so these are obviously weekly and annual wages.

Edit: The third number is the transfer fee.

Haha ironic that two of their best players, Noble and Collison, are receiving buttons compared to the rest.

It's the other one, Noble, who'd interest me. There's no transfer fee given for him. If he's available on a free we should be in for him like rats up a drainpipe.

This was posted a while back on here, I'm sure, and it was more readable.

The first figure is the weekly wage, whereas the second is the yearly sum.

I like that this fella asked to be paid exactly £1m per year.

Danny Gabbidon £50,000 a week.

There is no God.

This is really funny. There is hope for anyone really

A more presentable version:

I guarantee you ours would look a lot worse given the fact we paid out 100.5m last year. And West Ham's would have looked a lot worse in the past few years too, given the Ljungberg, Lucas Neill signings.

Are you sure they are not doing the Leeds and paying these players money out their contract?

That was Leeds worst fall down. They paid the likes of Robbie Fowler, Ian Harte and other massive sums just to fuck off. Sounds stupid, but it was a minor saving in the end... However for periods the money they paid to players not tere anymore was appr equal to the money the paid top player who was there....

And they were recently linked with £100k a week and the ever injured Joe Cole.

Saying that, we pay a lot of average players too much money too.
