With a lot of rotation between Suso/Gerrard/Shelvey about who plays up top. I'd rather see Enrique at LB with someone like Assaidi on the left so that we have another natural attacker on the pitch.

I think the Downing as LB experiment has failed. I'll go with Brizzle's suggestion of sticking Assaidi out on the the left. Enrique where he belongs. Shelvey has to start with Gerrard further forward.

I'm pleased you're seeing the light! I just think the boss see's in him whatever you do, regardless of form, and will put him in there. I think it's a mistake, but then I'm not the manager, and I trust him that he knows what he's doing.
Saying that, it's a fucking dogs dinner whoever we put in there as the board thought it'd be sensible to go through this season with 1 senior striker in the squad.

Well we'd better hope he rewards the gaffer with a hattrick then.
It mentions in that article about Dempsey - My mate is a Spurs season ticket holder and he said he's been woeful and said we dodged a bullet not buying him, which is some good news I suppose. Woulda been nice to get Sturridge on loan though, even though he was being a cock about not wanting to go out on loan, he'd have defo have had more playing time if he'd been here. Oh well, cut off your nose to spite your face and all that.

Haven't watched enough Spurs games this season to know how he's been doing on the pitch, but he has contributed 2 goals and 3 assists in 10 league starts and 2 sub appearances. What did Spurs fans expect - a thinner Maradona?

This is a pet hate of mine ! 😉

Does my head in when commentators say : "Team X haven't won here for 23 years" as if that has any relevance whatsoever to the match being played.

Same goes for West Ham, different players (on both sides), different manager, different attitudes, different weather perhaps, different hot dog seller, different bog paper - all makes historical results irrelevant.
