I actually think that so much of the bile we're seeing from the Scum has little to do with beating our record; it's the fact that we really don't care about it as much as we thought it would, and that drives them mental.

They probably imagined we'd be all going into collective meltdown; but really, after staring down financial insolvency and relegation in the face this season, the fact that we've come back strongly with healthy finances, owners who believe in winning, and a manager who's united millions of fans and the players behind him just tell us that the number '19' is just a number.

And THAT must stick in their craw.

They dreamed about being crowned the greatest of all whilst watching us being consigned to the Land of Nottingham Forest, and that hasnt happened. (there's actually a Fecebook page called 'Liverpool's Relegation Party' in case anyone feels like a laugh). Football is about 11 v 11 at the end of the day, and we have every chance of building a team that can trounce them with ease, hel we've done that with teams collectively weaker than theirs. So many times we've been in strong positions only to watch the Redmen crumble because we couldnt take the heat, that wont happen, not with the man who's won 4 titles.

Congrats for knocking us off our fucking perch, but they're just keeping it warm for us.

Excellent post.

"Andrew" Cole's a featherhead at the best of times anyway. I wouldn't rely on him to sit the right way round on the carsie.

WTF does that cunt know!

That's harsh on Avvy Roland.

Tut tut.

Great post there Avvy and a fair point. It must irritate the fuck out of them that we know how to react with dignity and respect, I thought Carra and Kenny's acknowledgements were typically respectful and both reacted with exactly the right attitude - It's up to us to get back up there.

They must have thought we'd be devastated, it'll probably spur us on all the more.

I'm still not convinced we'll challenge for the league next year. It largely depends on what we do this summer.

Dalglish has worked wonders, but we've only performed when the pressure has been off. Rafa had an amazing run in similar conditions. Next season will be altogether different - but if get off to good start then anything is possible.

Brilliant post Avvy, spot on.

Add an ms paint flag and that'll be the bestest post ever.
