Wenger quits

It will be Rodgers. He will have learnt next to nothing in that one pony town up North and if he tries to do what he did here, they arte going to carry on slumbering for a few years yet. It's not like Arsenal break the bank or pay top dollar. I imagine their wage bill is the least out of the so called top six.

We can dream but there's no way they are going to appoint someone associated with English football like Rafa or Rodgers. 0% chance.

It's going to be some fancy continental dish, preferably from Ligue 1.

Wenger's a very sad character, because he has no hinterland whatsoever. For all his 'intellectual' image, he's the opposite except for football. Outside of football he's a mere husk of a human being, because there're no interests, no thoughts, no passions. Ironically, he belongs more with the likes of Allardyce and Pulis than with genuinely cultured and well-rounded managers, because he does nothing but watch and talk about football, and soon he won't be in football. 'Professor'? What a joke.

That obsession did earn him big titles though..

Rodgers is the favourite with bookmakers but I just cant see that happening. I expect him to be back in the premier league next season but not at Arsenal

Rodgers just signed a 4 year contract last year. I can see why Celtic are willing to accept any approach for him, given the compensation they will receive. 😎

I think Mislintat will have a big influence regarding the new manager’s appointment.

Always liked Wenger. Brilliant Manager in his time and produced team's that played some of the best football the Premier League has ever seen. I know he's seen by some as being a miserable, moaning twat but I've always thought he comes across pretty well in the main. A mate of a mate sorta thing met him in a swanky London restaurant about 5 or 6 years ago and said he was great with him, got a pic with him and he was really sound in general.

Wish he was staying, Toulouse Le Plot years ago. Hopefully, they have a Moyes moment in replacing the fuckin Professor Yaffle.

It will still be hard to replace him. People around Arsenal is very impatience now and a New manager will not get a lot of time to adjust. And that is a difficult rask for someone who want to build for the future.

The strong rumours are that Raul Sanllehi has been in talks with Luis Enrique for weeks and the deal should be completed very soon. And that'll be quite a gamble IMHO.

Big gamble. Was a small gamble for Barca but it turned out very well for them. I know he had a shit hot team but he still had to adjust their game to maximize the output of the team. Smart guy. Solid footballman. I like him so hope they don't sign him.

It's that German who wears blouses.

Very true. It's his strength and his weakness, until it ceased to be his strength.
That is true too. I used to envy the fact that Arsenal seemed to have the better of the French managers, while the last five years have given me a good laugh.
Wonder if he’ll ‘retire’ into international management. If that country has great defenders, like when he took over the arse, maybe it would work out for him.
