Welcome Jurgen

Do you know what, I wanted Ancelotti originally but isn't Klopp an exciting prospect?

You know you've done well when rival fans are raging he's our new manager.

I was the same but a good few people put forward a good arguments for Klopp first, saying how Ancelotti has walked into clubs that were already top teams, whereas Klopp took Dortmund up from a weak position and how Klopp would be more likely to be a long term option. I am absolutely fucking ecstatic with this. I love the crazy bastard.

One thing that I think might be in Jurgen's favor is that he is younger and has not achieved as much which IMO makes him more hungry for success. I'm not saying Ancelotti wouldn't be up for it or wouldn't be successful at LFC but is he really going to go that extra mile when he has already achieved everything in his career?

I'll stop talking nonsense now.

I genuinely hope our rivals are a bit miffed by this, he's a great prospect. Obviously there are reservations like with anyone, but his track record with Dortmund speaks for itself when they've had success.

I'm stunned and delighted. He'll be perfect. I'm utterly convinced of it!

I am extremelly happy and proud that we are able to attract this respected manager to Our Club. People must not forget that he was the fans Clear Clear favourite to take over from Ancelotti when he left Real Madrid.

The fact that Beckenbauer and Matthaeus are championing his cause whilst plebs like Danny Murphy and Harry Redknapp are doubting it is making me more confident.
I wanted Carlo but it's hard not to be excited.
After the 6-1 loss to Stoke I thought the likes of Klopp and Ancelloti were a pipe dream but goes to show that as a club we can still attract the big names which is boss.

I reckon it says more about Klopp's character and his preference for a proper challenge than it does about our pulling power. I think Ancelotti would have been a tough sell. He'd walk into a job at a CL club. Having said that I reckon there are players that wouldn't have been attracted to the idea of playing for Liverpool that would love to come now, purely because of the Klopp factor.

Also, I'm disappointed with Murphy being against this. I generally think his opinions are alright.

What was Murphy saying?

How on earth could anyone be against us getting Jurgen Klopp? We'd be crazy to pass up on him.
Not much man - Just he was asked on talkshite I think who he'd prefer. Klopp or Carlo. He went with Carlo. No big deal.

This is kind of manager I was expecting us to replace Benny with. Instead they gave us a buzzard.
