And if scoreline remains the same after 90mins, Bolton will leapfrog Spurs into 5th place with 15 pts, ahead by goal difference. Nice job Coyle's been doing, irregardless of today's match.

Indeed and they are a more positive looking side these days too. The Sam A days seems to be well behind them.

Yead, without making too many signings too. Only 1 of the starting 11 is brought in by him. Looking safe for a win at 2-0 now.

Bolton are tearing Spurs apart. It is hard to believe that a win at the weekend and we're level on points with this much vaunted Spurs' team.

I've thought for some time that Torres could do with playing in that kind of set-up, at least in some games. It's a job I reckon Jovanovic could do well, and I'd like to see him tried there.
I'm going to get slaughtered for this but if Torres had Davies upfront as his partner he wouldnt keep getting battered all the time.

It has been a mystery to me why Rafa did not try Crouch more in this role with Torres. I thought they linked up well the very few times they played together.

He'd also never receive the ball to feet

I kinda envisioned Davies knocking the ball down to Torres' feet. However, we will be turned into a long ball team, so I don't think we'll be going down that route.
Great game. If Spurs continue to have CL games, they will suffer. Bale was almost invisible today except for a couple of wing cross and a free kick that hit the post.
