Promising how quickly & easily that Utd confidence dropped though.

Don't bury him too early, just like Mourinho – Conte is a great manager and a winner. However, I think now he is starting to realize why this squad finished 10th last season. His exact quote after the game was: "now we are a great team only on paper."

Simple, Alonso is a good crosser and he needed supply for the two strikers. Juve scored a lot from crosses when he was manager.

Hes not and they went essentially a back three, created possibly two shots with one decent chance after this happened and were living in fear of counter attacks, it hardly helped them get a grip of the game, which I'd thought was more likely with Fàbregas on the pitch
