That is more important than any new signing.

The DoF and Klopp should be the ones making every football decision. They should build up the club the way they want.

Ayre should stick to the financial bit. He should have 0% to say about who we should sign or sell.

Klopp already said what the problem he is facing this season. He doesn't get time to train the players. Its usually a game followed by rest followed by game. I think we're averaging 2 games a week.

Whatever happened to the last fella who trotted that one out?

Aren't we dysfunctional enough without a DoF working alongside our A-list manager?

We are dysfunctional because the manager didn't had the final say when it comes down to who we sell or buy. Oh, let sign Markovic, who cares about if the manager want him or not.

Markovic ended playing left wing back because of that.

It would be great if we afforded our new manager a bit of patience with a very average and dysfunctional squad assembled by someone else.

I'd rather have someone like Zorc as a Dof then a transfer committee that clearly isnt working.
Klopp has always worked with a Dof. There wont be any problems.

Rodgers is as much as fault as anyone. He clearly didnt know how to buy players. Shame the rest of the lot arent werent very good either.

Just send out a B team every other game and train his A team properly. We might actually win more if training is the solution.

Rodgers isn't blameless but you have to ask how we ended up appointing first Hodgson then Dalglish and then Rodgers.

I don't think it is a coincidence that we ended up signing a player like Suarez with a DoF in charge and not Ayre.

I think it's fair to say you're a believer...you've nailed your colours to the mast and I like that. It's also true there are many people at the club and no longer at the club who are much more culpable for the state we're in than Klopp himself. My faith is being tested though.

I can see your point but I dont see it that way. If Klopp had been hired in the summer then yes, but with the fixture list we've got and injuries I find it hard to make any sort of judgement yet.

He's one of the better managers around, he'll get plenty of time and he's the right man to turn this around.
We're in for a massive summer though. Has to be a lot of improvement next season.

and Carroll. Didn't Comolli sign Downing too? And Adam?

They're human - they hit n' miss.

Do you believe that Klopp will be able to turn this around if he don't have the final say in every transfer deal?

A man like Ayre should never in the first place have anything to say who we sell or buy. He is a financial expert not a football one. United have the same problem with Woodward.

Why shouldnt he have the final say in transfers? I doubt he would have taken the job otherwise.

I would rather have Comolli in charge than Ayre. I can tell you that but the problem is that some players have been identified and signed by team Ayre and the other ones by team Rodgers.

It is like the war between Gillett and Hicks but this time the war was between team Ayre and team Rodgers.

I believe that Klopp now have the final say and it isn't a second to late. Let the football people make the football decisions and the financial people the financial decisions.

Only the manager or the manager and the DoF should have anything to say about how valuable a player is for the team. Not a man like Ayre. If the manager want to buy only two players for £40m each and both of them are over 28 years old and think that they would strenghten our team a lot then Ayre should only be there to sort out the financial bit. He shouldn't have anything to say about how important a player is for the team.

All our fit players are shite. I wouldn't give a fuck if the bus burst into flames on the way home. We've only got a few decent players and they're not on it.

Apart from Flanno, I agree.
