Kelly at right back. Johnson at right wing. Try it.

Lucas and Meireles in the centre again, Cole behind Torres, Kuyt or Maxi out on the left.

Re: We Will Beat Blackpool

Yeah, it needs to be looked at at least.

I hope we fucking batter Blackpool. We owe them one

I'd prefer Shelvey ahead of Meireles or Lucas. At lease he won't shit out of tackles like both of those did today. Meireles on more occasions than I care to remember. I hate shithouses.

Re: We Will Beat Blackpool

In fairness to Meireles maybe it was the fact he was coming back from injury? That's the first time I have been disappointed with him.

He was a bottler in most tackles today. Unacceptable to me, you're fit to tackle or you're not.

Re: We Will Beat Blackpool

It's easy to get up and motivated for a game against Utd in the FA cup. The game on Wednesday is an equally big challenge for the manager, I think. And let's not forget, we're without Gerrard, and this team has played like a shower of cunts all season. Even under Hodgepodge the players rallied together and played great against Chelsea.

This performance means nothing if we don't build on it.

Re: We Will Beat Blackpool

Hopefully the players will feel they have a score to settle with Blackpool after losing to them at home earlier on this season.

If they don't they shouldn't be in the shirt

Re: We Will Beat Blackpool

It's odd cause Raul has never shown any fear of getting stuck in before this. I always thought he was a combatative player who liked a tackle. Today he did seem to pull out once or twice but i'm hoping it had more to do with his previous injury and fitness more that anything.

Re: We Will Beat Blackpool

I hope it's the same back four as today, Lucas and Meireles in the middle, Kuyt and babel out wide and Cole off Torres. We need three points fucking badly.

I disagree, I've seen him do it in multiple matches.

After what I saw today - I think its now going to happen, already the King set us up in a formation that pretty much managed to hold back the leage leaders for most of the game. We are going to fucking batter them - I can't wait for game to come.

He did it against Newcastle too, for Carroll's third goal. I hate that.

That said, he hasn't had many poor games for us, today was one though.
