Some great news to read after our 3rd straight good result ...

Mirror is linking Barcelona AND Madrid with a move for Mane in the summer ...
 
Fun times next summer.

Let's hope this supposed long term view is backed by a solid plan / strategy.

It's reassuring that we have one or two players good enough to be linked (and often sold) to the biggest/ richest clubs in the world, but that's small consolation when they always want to leave because we don't win anything and aren't expected to.
 
Well, at least once he is sold, along with Coutinho, at least that'll be a good quarter of a billion squid in the bank for us not to spend on a defence.

We should - if this happens just display that money on the pitch for 90 mins in each home game.
 
Keep ourselves in the champions league and have a decent run in it this year and keeping hold of those players / replacing them becomes a lot easier. Thats the key.
 
He's an obvious target for them, but we made our point with Coutinho. We won't be bullied into a deal
 
Mane linked with those clubs was bound to happen, after his performances. This used the happen to us every few years but now it's happening more regularly
 
Not so worried about this. I think Mane will think hard about leaving Klopp and also the experience of really black players from africa is not so great in spain.

Just to be clear - not being racist like but seriously I was disturbed by the treatment Eto used to get. I remember in one game he just wanted to leave the field in the middle of a game it so bad.

He got that in Italy, Turkey and Russia too.

It's not just a Spain issue (although Spain do have some bad issues)

Maybe he will like Liverpool/England too much and realize - this is better than taking shit in those other countries.
