Im not doing all them goddamn poll options or owt.

Im sticking with Brazil. Still my pick and ive seen nothing to suggest anything different.

Argentina, Spain, Holland and Brazil are the best teams.

Brazil FTMFW!

Holland, or Spain.

The south american teams all have a lackadaisical defence prone to errors, which will be exploited by a determined and disciplined European side with a good defence.

I've been thinking about it, but i reckon given both sides kinda need to go for it. Spain will exploit what i reckon is the poorer defence. Not, admittedly, that i've seen either tested hugely but i think Spain will win that one.

Maybe, but I'm banking on the shocks that we've seen continuing - I've seen fuck all football so can't go into it in any detail.

I've got Brazil in the sweeps (fiver a head!) so they definitely won't win.

Argentina ftw

Argentina.

They seem the most 'together' of the squads, & play natural attacking football, should Torres find his shooting boots (understandably he's rusty) Spain will be hard to beat though.

England

Slow starters in world cups get going later on.

[/quote]I agree in principle but you don't go from laughable to world beaters in 5 games.
I genuinely think that eg chile have a better chance than us.

That's the spirit Pete although I can easily see where Oncy's coming from.

That said the trophy can only be lost in the groupstages - not won. So no matter how you qualify to the knockouts you're still in on the exact same conditions as everyone else.

I'm not going to write England of just yet, if you go through anything can happen when you've got the likes of Gerrard, Rooney and GlenJo playing for your team.
