Here they are.

A wall of evil.

Quelle surprise....it's mainly goalies who are bleating about it.

Just like any new ball.

With the keepers complaining about the ball, I would suggest that we can at least expect many goals in the WC.

Complain about that, ya bastards !

I love the supermarket balls.

1) You can wallop them on the beach without them hurting your feet

2) you can score some cracking 'Roberto Carlos' type goals

Buuu huu... The ball is not good enough. Well it is made of leather, and it is actually round... Pretty much what you should demand from the ball... They stuck the same description since the first world cup I think. But todays players dont like it. They need a better ball.

The overpaid, useless, lazy rats... Or was that just the norwegian team (which didnt make it anyway)???

Steady.

There was a big piece in the Guadian recently, in which loads of footballers endorsed the new ball and not many keepers had been complaining about it.

So meh.

Yes loads of second rate footballers and loads of subsidized footballers maybe.

But how many top players who aren't on Fifa's payroll like it. If it is perfectly spherical how can it shift both ways in flight. No wonder modern World Cup games are rubbish It takes months years in some cases to get used to a ball.

In fairness it appears the Guardian was talking bollocks

'Reception

The ball was noted as behaving "completely different" at altitude by England coach Fabio Capello[6]. Brazil goalkeeper Júlio César said the ball felt horrible, comparing it to a "supermarket" ball that favored strikers and worked against goalkeepers[7]. Giampaolo Pazzini from Italy labelled it "a disaster"[8]. Chile's goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, complained about the ball, saying "It was made to prejudice goalkeepers". Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas also branded the ball 'appalling'.[9] Italian keeper Gigi Buffon said: "it is very sad that a competition so important as the world championship will be played with such a horrible ball".[10] Brazilian striker Luís Fabiano called the ball "supernatural", as it unpredictably changed direction when travelling through the air, adding that none of the players of the Brazilian squad reacted in favor of the ball. In the same interview, Brazilian Júlio Baptista said the ball worked against strikers and goalkeepers, as it moved in different and unintended directions after a kick.[11] Joe Hart of England, after training with the ball for a number of days, said the ‘balls have been doing anything but staying in my gloves.’[12] Denmark coach Morten Olsen after their 1-0 friendly defeat at the hands of Australia: "We played with an impossible ball and we need to get used to it."[13] Brazilian striker Robinho has stated "For sure the guy who designed this ball never played football. But there is nothing we can do, we have to play with it." [14] David James has said: 'The ball is dreadful. It's horrible, but it's horrible for everyone.'

Who's arsed though?

I think that at the next drinkies football match, a plastic petrol station ball should be used.

That's a really good reason not to play Hart.

They seem to play pretty well with the dfferent balls in the different competitions prem, champions league etc.
Maybe this is why some of the foreign players find it difficult in the prem, its not the fast, paced physical nature of the game but just that they are unable to get used to the balls in the prem.

Maybe this is the reason Zlatan fucks up ?

He can't get hold of the balls properly.
