Interesting game this... I thought Uruguay were really beginning to dominate, and their pressure was beginning to show cracks, but Ghana have counterattacked with pace so well now, and had chances of their own.

The keeper should be dissapointed for letting it in so easily all right, even if he was somewhat unsighted, but it still was a sweet strike from Muntari, powerful with lots of movement.
 
It was a big blow for the uruguayans to lose Lugano. They can still get back into this, but they need to calm down.
 
Wow... 1-1 Forlan blasts it on a fk and it swerves round the keeper. Forlan has the measure of this ball, as he's been very dangerous from range in this one.

He's a magnificent footballer, and I think if he did come back to the premiership, he'd do really well. His runs are so clever.

Goalie looking nervy now for Ghana, he's been really solid through the tournament.

It's amazing how good a footballer he's become since leaving England. He may have been this good all along, but this is the same guy that was missing chances like this:

There was a header he did which was my favourite. Forget who it was against but he was stood on the post, and adjusted himself to head it wide.

LOVE the world cup. The scenes with suarez going off in disgrace then running and celebrating were insane. And the game isn't over.
 
My uruguayan friend is so incomprehensibly drunk, thought I was having reception issues. The pain of the hangover rests on these penalty kicks.

Shame they went out.
 
That was the cheekiest penalty I've seen in many a year.

I guess that's why he's called el loco. What fucking cojones.
