I think the answer to this may be dead obvious and Im just being a bit thick, but why are we advised to turn our taps off when we're brushing our teeth, or use that half flush button on the lav when we have a waz?
Doesn't all the water go down the drain, through the sewer, into the treatment works and back to source anyway? I mean water down your drain isn't lost forever is it? I don't gettit?
