I liked Neil "Dissa" Pointon.

What a horrible sight Lawrenson's mug is part-way down the page BTW. The silly sod came out with the "Wash" nickname during the commentary on the Leeds game in midweek and was dead pleased with himself for "thinking of it".
 
I'm quite sure Bunny was the first to use it on here, but I have no idea if it's his work or not. No doubt he'll tell us if it is....

Asbo was the first that I saw, but I know Bunny came up with it too, independently of Asbo.

Still, Asbo's kudos. What are you going to do with the money, fame and adulation Asbo?

I did. I was really happy with it. Funny that Lawro's only just thought of it. Did the nickname reach other sites before that, or only ours?

After the PSV game - I remember now, that was the first time I heard anyone pronounce his name like that. I always thought, before, that you sounded the last G.
 
Jay's the clear winner. And it just seemed to slip under the radar in that thread, being subconsciously picked up by Bunny and Asbo.
