Seeing that now is as good as time as any for a knee jerk reaction I was wondering who at this point is in the "Rafa Out" camp?

Of course Rage and Le Chacal will be there, probably joined by Whaddapie, Rosco and Sheik among others.
So, who else?
I am guessing this is going to be bigger that Dumdedum's army.

I don't want him out. What's the point this early in the season? See where we end up in May before making decisions like that.

All our best players?? Torres and Gerrard - we dont even know what Aquilani will be like.

The fact is that we are shite without those 2 players. Our style of play just isnt expansive enough and so we rely on our 2 'World Class' players to make the difference.

I wonder who's fault that is....

Anyway, which manager of decent calibre will be willing to take on the job?

No money to spend. Not exactly a strong squad (in terms of squad players esp.). Youth production line just 'changed'. Prospect of working with or should I say under, G & H?

The out of work, Klinsmann?

I love Rafa very much.

I am his bigger supporter since the day he came.

But if he can't bring the success to this club, I think he should go.

Next week is very crucial.

Whilst G&H are in control, we better hope and pray that Rafa continues to stick with us.

In-form Lyon and then the Mancs. Great.

I can see us completing a 5 game losing streak.

That's the best time to hit form then!

That right there is why, until we fail to qualify for the champions league, I will be patient and put up with Rafa's crazyness.

When does reacting negatively after a poor performance and poor result stop being a knee jerk reaction and start becomming justified?

I still don't think we are out of the title race and I still fully believe we will finish top 4 but we are making it difficult for ourselves.

I don't want to see Benitez gone at this stage as I can't see how it will help but if we do have a storming finish and still miss out on the title then we can't let second half of the season results make us forget this kind of form

At LFC we usually dont sack managers during the season. Lets wait untill may.
Having said that Im really worried for 4th spot now. It will be a hard fight with City, Villa and Spurs
Missing CL and sacking Rafa would cost the club something like £60M.
A potential disaster a la Leeds which no one hopes.

Probably surprisingly I don't really want him out at the moment.

If you take this season in isolation I don't think he's done much wrong in terms of tactics or selections. He's been quite limited in options open to him.

There are few reasons he hasn't got enough options open to him :

1. He didn't get to spend all the money that was raised in sales.

2. His strategy in transfer market is quite poor. He prioritises the wrong areas, sells the wrong players and fails to get any value out of a lot of deals.

3. His management style is such that players who aren't regular starters seem quite keen to leave. When squad players do show they're capable of offering us something they inevitably want to leave.

its only a matter of time before the players want him out.

What do you base that on?

rumours that he's lost/losing the dressing room. the look on the faces of some of our better players.
