Sure enough, it appears those reports about Liverpool's next third kit were bang on.

Footy Headlines, a website with a good track record when it comes to leaked football kit news, told us back in November that the Anfield club would be turning out in a 'grey violet'-coloured kit during the 2018/19 campaign, which would also come complete with luminous pink applications.

This now appears to have been all but confirmed by the emergence of a leaked image which shows the kit's shirt. As we were told, New Balance seem to have opted for 'grey violet' - a colour they've never used before - as its base colour. They've also used bright pink for their own logo, the Liverpool crest and the main shirt sponsor. The edge of the shirt's sleeves are also in the same shade of the colour, as is a small triangular area beneath its collar.
The shirt's main body also appears to feature a 'watermark' design of the club's badge, with a similar effect used for the twin flames which are positioned between the club crest and New Balance logo.

At this stage, it's still unclear when the shirt - assuming the image proves to be show the real thing - is set to be released.

wow, bring back toxic slime or keep the gunman orange , anything but that

There is a pretty good cross section of international posters on this board. Is this for the far east or something? Or scouse birds? I'm not up to speed on all this shit.

It is gay is it not ? - tell me - (some of you may think I know given my love of Virgil's cock - but trust me I am not). I think girls will like it though.

This looks fake, the watermark of the Shankly gates is fucking terrible, off centte and appears to be incorrectly sized. I dont buy jerseys so I dont care but if thats genuine then we are going to look ridiculous

I always wonder how many people have looked at this and deemed it acceptable. This has had to go through a few stages of approval. It's fucking ghastly.

There was research that suggested kids want neon kits - my feeling is that this would need more 'hot pink' to meet that. However I would want to stab myself in the eye if that is the way we went with it. I love the idea of doing something 'different' and keeping the orange kit - make an example of it and promote it to next year's away kit within commentary around not being able to retire a shirt that has given such good cameo performances.

On a related note - i would be interested in research that suggests team's perform better in colours that are easier to spot at a glance e.g. orange, red, neons vs kits that are black, green etc.

I can’t really see any +18 men wear this in public. Maybe on the training ground but in public?

Would be a bit like wearing a t-shirt with rainbows and ponies on it.. weird signal for a grown man no matter the sexual preference. Unless of course you are into ponies and rainbows.

I heard rumours of a proper purple which looked decent. Fuck this version

Yes, purple looks OK in Fiorentina's kit because they use a decent darkish shade. This b@stardised mixture of mauve and puke is a joke at our expense. It's well past time that the balance of power between clubs' needs and the wishes of a few w@nkers in the kit manufacturers' design depts.was redressed in the clubs' favour.

I bought a Firorentina top over there when we played them and they dicked us around 10 years ago. I'd just been atkinsing it big time, and then got back on the lager over those few days and got back to around the weight I've been at since. It's been hanging in my wardrobe for ten years reminding me that if I had any willpower I'd be a couple of stone lighter in a couple of months.
