My god, what the fuck was that from Lucas. That was fucking awful. Hangs around on the ball too much, plays a dangerous ball across the field, has to make a dangerous foul to deal with the problem he created. Yellow card.

FK comes to nothing.

Wow. That was shit even with my Hodgson expectation filter.

I'm working out exactly what about our formation caused Lucas to be even more shit than normal, but I've got nothing so I'll have to wait for the RAWK thread.
 
Meireles looks uncomfortable playing this AM position. As does Cole on the left. What the fuck does Hodgson see?
 
Shite passing. Dodgey defending. Zero creativity. Players who were bought to play in the centre are playing on the wings. Two cunts in midfield. A world class striker who might aswell be at home nobbing his girlfriend. Have i missed anything?

Meireles isn't really playing AM, Cole is more often in that position, but of course it's awkward. You don't expect us to have players in wide positions who belong do you? It's not the liverpool way. AMs who can play out wide, strikers, central midfielders, full backs, that's who belongs at LW and RW.

Well, playing as we have been the entire season there really. Can't put the oppo in any real danger, few men attacking at the same time, shite passing, sitting to deep and no pace whatsoever.

Torres must have one of the worst working conditions in any team in the world at the moment, there is absolutly nothing being created. Very isolated, and he has to take on 4 defenders at a time whenever he gets the ball.

4-4-2 is alright, but playing Poulsen and Lucas is just awful. It's more like a 6-2-2 they're so deep.
And we're losing possesion as usual with Lucas unable to hold on to it at all.

We desperatly need to push Meireles in central with Poulsen and put Kuyt or Maxi out wide. Get some energy and creativity in the middle and push forward.
 
Given Joe Cole has spent his entire career on the left, I don't think it's Roy's fault for fucking playing him there.

There's nothing wrong with him on the left. It's a shame what's to his right, or rather what isn't, because you know, they'd have to have plodded their way to the opponent's half.
 
That was a fucking disgraceful half from Lucas! He ought to be ashamed of himself. Is Jonjo on the bench?

Torres got better as the half went on. Cole was at least trying his arse off. Good lad! As is Merelias - He just looks out of position. Johnson is horribly out of form it seems.

Same old same old - Let's hope the 2nd half they step up.

You've been on about how shit he is in the centre. He isn't. We look most threatening when he's drifting in, and he's always trying to create something. Play him there - he's been excellent every time he's played there this season.
 
Woy is playing like Rafa with 2 useless DM. Absolutely pointless. Watching Lucas and Poulsen make me sick
Torres needs a partner upfront.

I've only just got in. Forgot it was an early kick off to be honest.

I'm guessing it's the usual same old story with Pucas ruining everything?
