It's a decent result, if you look at Utrechts home record. 7 games 7 wins. But we're Liverpool, we should win games like this. I can live with a draw, but the 90 mins were yet again clueless drivel without any gameplan.
I could probably list 20-25 midfielders that could do a better job then Poulsen, that we could have bought for the same amount of money.

Well, it sounds like it was a predictably dreadful match, and I'm pretty happy I spent those 90 minutes playing football rather than watching it. I have to say though, the match THREAD was fucking brilliant. Made me LOL several times, especially the Inception gag and the Twix discussion. So big pat on the back to 6CM, and fuck off LFC.
Perhaps we should organise a protest for Sunday's match?

When i played my first game of FIFA, i played exactly like our team at this moment
I had no idea how to pass
I had no idea how to make off-the-ball runs
I had no idea of how to take or defend a set-piece
I had no idea shoot with power or finesse
nothing....
Our team is just turning up physically, with absolutely no confidence or a tactical game plan - I really don't know how people can look at our display so far and say that there is a coherent thought process behind this all...
Benitez started slowly, but he clearly had an idea on football and we could see little aspects of that come in to play.
Roy Hodgson is just going through the motions till he gets the sack - for that reason i would suggest he gets the sack sooner than later.
I think i have seen enough. I hope we are not waiting for us to be embarrassed more thoroughly.....

I turned off after the start of the 2nd half. One obvious change for me was to put Meireles in the middle, take off one of the twins and put a pacy option on the flank. When this change wasn't made i gave up.
Im guessing the 2nd half was the usual plod, plod, plod......more slow plodding, let the opposition find their defensive shape...5 or 6 more phases of sideways plodding, lose the ball through careless play, take our own defensive shape up.....win the ball back and start plodding around again....add nauseum. Zero incisive, creative football from any of the fuckers on display.
