A Manchester United fan is having emergency surgery in Paris after being stabbed in the chest by a taxi driver following Wednesday night's Champions League match... The driver took offence to him and three others singing in the taxi after the game...



Shocking really...
 
That is shocking. Four of them in his taxi and he only managed to stab one of them. No wonder the Germans gave them such a pasting.
 
Football banter is one thing, but this is human life we're talking about.
We would be rightly pissed if one of their fans started to mock Sean Cox.

Not good to see - on dodgy away trips you'd like to think that taxis are a safe way of getting around. Curious to know what they sang, whether it was inflammatory or just loud and a bit gloaty.
 
Well.. i heard people go on about how unbearable we would be if we finally won the league because we are supposed to be the gloaters.

And then witness the absurd celebrations for winning their first knock out game in CL since 2011....? I must admit I have thought about worse than stabbing....

Aside from the stabbing, I saw some thread on FB about the win. It's ridiculous the amount of comments that were about us or Klopp, "it mustn't have been a windy night", etc. Obsessed knobheads.
 
Most of the utd fans I know on Facebook had been largely silent on anything football related until after the match.
