Now I know in the past it has been poo poed when anyone suggested that there is a bit of an agenda against us in the media.

After yesterday's match I honestly would have expected a lot more positive reporting of our game and the level at which we now seem to be playing at. However much of the reports I have read seemed to be more focused on City and the fact that they are still unbeaten. This is the side that beat Man U 6-1 at Old Trafford yet were reduced to holding on for a point against us. I really expected much praise would come our way yet I have seen little.

Indeed the Beeb's match report would almost have you believe that we were the lucky ones.

I am paraphrasing their report but it went along the lines of "City deservedly took the lead having dominated the first half hour" They were very strong in the first fifteen minutes all right but after that we were well in the game I thought.
Liverpool equalised through a fortunate own goal without having created a chance prior to that It was indeed a fortunate own goal but why did they say that we hadn't created any chances? I don't think City had either in that period.

Maybe it's just me but the beeb especially seemed to have turned against us, probably because they are back in the good books with fergie.

The Beeb has hardly been notable for its LFC-friendliness even while the old gobsh!te was boycotting it. I don't think there's been any recent change TBH.

The highlights package, once again, didn't do us any favours. It made us look like we weren't in the game up until City's goal.

It was only when Lawro and Cunto were going though our chances (and admitted they had left a bunch out) that anyone would have got the sense that we were the better side. TBH a lot of the coverage is damning us with faint praise. Guardian write-ups weren't exactly dripping with enthusiasm for our performance, and had us as plucky spoilers rather than a very good side.

yeah we deserved more praise for yesterdays game but to be fair the medias been saying how well we play even when we're shite

Yeah alas, we have to also win, to get the praise. Swansea, Norwich, United City, - 8 points dropped silly style. Had we taken 6 of those points, we'd be where? Third?

In the highlights over here I think Silvas effort was their only big chance in the second half. We had 17 shots compared to Citys 7. And won everything that can be proved statwise, so to say that we didnt deserve the win is insane.
