Now I know in the past it has been poo poed when anyone suggested that there is a bit of an agenda against us in the media.
After yesterday's match I honestly would have expected a lot more positive reporting of our game and the level at which we now seem to be playing at. However much of the reports I have read seemed to be more focused on City and the fact that they are still unbeaten. This is the side that beat Man U 6-1 at Old Trafford yet were reduced to holding on for a point against us. I really expected much praise would come our way yet I have seen little.
Indeed the Beeb's match report would almost have you believe that we were the lucky ones.
I am paraphrasing their report but it went along the lines of "City deservedly took the lead having dominated the first half hour" They were very strong in the first fifteen minutes all right but after that we were well in the game I thought.
Liverpool equalised through a fortunate own goal without having created a chance prior to that It was indeed a fortunate own goal but why did they say that we hadn't created any chances? I don't think City had either in that period.
Maybe it's just me but the beeb especially seemed to have turned against us, probably because they are back in the good books with fergie.
