My niece is getting married on Friday and I'm giving her away. Her dad hasn't been on the scene in years and my dad, her grandad, shuffled off to the Anfield in the sky a few years ago so it's left to me to walk her down the aisle. Looking forward to it but a bit nervous about the speech...and gutted to be missing the Open golf on Friday. An advice on the speech. Warm and gently amusing is the order of the day for the father of the bride speech isn't it?
