Solanke was fairly quiet , had a few opportunities he fluffed in the first half but was always a willing runner and worked hard
Ojo came on with 30 minutes left and left a few Venezuelans in his wake , tracked back well and got forwards a few times
Decent game of football , England had 5/6 players who had the strength and pace to simply breeze past the Venezuelans and that felt like the difference maker, having a few more senior players
Venezuela offered a few chances and after a diminutive number 10 came on they looked a threat , the peno they had was piss poor and the dick with the bleached hair had a poor game
The ref called the peno correctly but still referred it to the video ref who seemingly gave an instantaneous response , so that appears to have worked well when needed throughout the tournament
I knew little of solanke prior to this tournament but I can see him integrating into our first team squad well, he's strong , technically looks good and his first touch and ability to interchange with others looks good . Not the quickest but no slouch either based off this tournament.
