VDS, Ferdinand, Carrick all rested for Sunday's match against us. Rooney will probably return from his injury too. Another early cup exit on the cards for us then.

Fair point. I think the crux is, you just have to look at our away record. Regardless of the financial issues and adding the fact we do need to provide a sound base for the next manager to work from, I think it's imperative that we do try to improve that in the interim.
