I also thought his defending in the first half was far from great. Gnabry exposed him more than once.
I thought his misjudged his positioning for off side a couple of times, which resulted in dangerous situations.

As for the Gnabry substitution - he seemed to be injured, and went directly to the dressing room escorted by their physio.

I was thinking the same the other day... depends on how the season pans out with injuries and what not though.

Only thing that I think he'd struggle with would be making runs off the ball - but that comes with practice and experience.

Love him at right back though, especially against opponents we need to attack.

Whatever, he's certainly the most promising Academy player I've seen play for the first team since, I dunno, maybe even Gerrard

He looks like a genuinely quality footballer. I do wish he was built more like Gerrard, but anyway
