Seamus Coleman just for starters.
I'll get a home kit with the player's name if any of them is signed. 😛
Ricardo Rodriguez
Juan Cuadrado
Lars Bender
Koke
Alexis Sanchez
Papadoupolis
Rakitic/Koke
Konoplyanka
Alexis Sanchez
Cole
It would be foolish to put Joe and Ashley Cole in the same boat. Completely different players. We've tried Joe Cole already, it didn't work out.

We need experienced players too. Cole will be a good fit especially that we need a bigger but more importantly, quality squad. Koke is boss. Top player. My preference is for Rakitic. he has everything. Had no idea Papadoupolis was injured again. Thomas Muller would also be somebody to consider.Papadopolous is injury prone. Played just 4 games this season, not worth the gamble. That Rakitic looks a boss player alright but I've not been that over awed with Koke. Would never want that tit Ashley Cole near our team

Definite goners:
Reina
Touré
Robinson
Coates
Kelly
Allen
Assaidi
Borini
Aspas
Adorjan
Moses back to the Chavs
Cissokho back to Spain
We should recoup at least £25 million
----------------------------
The "sell if we can replace" category:
Agger or Skrtel (Illori will return to deputise)
We should recoup at least £8 million
----------------------------
What we would need to buy if all the players above are sold:
A winger
back up striker
starting defensive midfielder
Another midfiled playmaker
That would leave us with:
Two keepers (Mignolet, Jones)
3 Right backs (Flanagan, McLaughlin, Johnson)
2 Left backs (Enrique + Flannagan)
4 Central defenders (Sakho, Skrtel/Agger, Ilori, Wisdom, Caulker)
2 Defensive midfielder (Lucas, Fernando)
4 Central midfielders (Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, Gylfie Siggurdsen)
4 Attacking midfielders (Coutinho, Teixeira, Alberto, Roberto Firmino)
3 Wingers (Sterling, Ibe, Coutinho, Konoplyanka)
3 Strikers (Suarez, Sturridge, Lukaku)
That squad will give us too many headaches and we'll ultimately struggle to get a return on our investments in the long run.
I appreciate that it is a squad game these days but generally there is a core group of players that play more often that not. Up there you've got 8 players competing for 3 spots in midfield. That's not going to go down well.
Gerrard will still play more often than not, Masher is unlikely to want to leave Barca to sit on the bench for 75% of games, Henderson and Allen both need games to continue improving. As does Coutinho who is still young. Can and Firmino, like Coutinho, need games to realize any potential they have. If we buy players like that and have them in and out of the side constantly it'll just be money down the drain.
Suso,Teixera and Ibe could be loaned out. Allen is back-up. Emre is 19/20 and will feature bit part this season.
I was discounting Suso, Teixera and Ibe anyway. We'd still have too many players in need of time and development in midfield.
We've already had experience of signing players at the point of their breakthrough and then bringing them to Anfield to do...... nothing. It's stupid because you're paying a premium at that point in their career (for potential) and then seemingly hoping that they'll continue the same upward trajectory with the odd cup game here and there. It's not going to happen and it's wasteful.
If we sign someone like Can or Firmino there needs to be a clear plan for how they fit into the squad and get games to continue their development otherwise there is no point.

I sometimes wonder if you're just pushing this lower league expert shitck as far as you can just to see how fucking stupid we all are.
'yeah, Cambridge City's target man, quality he is. Worth a punt at £250. Oh aye, yeah. I was down at AFC Didsbury the other week btw. Worth checking them out. Nippy little Irish striker, Oscar O'Gole, could be the next big thing. Oh yep.'
Wholesale change will be counter productive but there is a need for greater quality. We need at least 4 quality signing of which a minimum of 3 must go directly into the starting XI then we'll be in good shape. Ship out squad players that will generate funds to go towards the kitty.
I have no problem with that. Its a wishlist, the arrivals may well be vastly different. One thing we can all agree on is we need top quality signing to bolster the 1st team. Its your list I adjusted
Rodgers job.
I would like think that there is no danger of someone like Can not getting playing time. We generally play with 3 CMs, and we have only 4 at the club - 3 if Lucas is binned. With the prospect of a 50 game season coming up, I think any CM signing we make will get loads of games.
Are you Daniel Levy?
It's bloody good head ache as a manager to have.
He'll go to Inter probably - He is a tit but there is no denying his talent.Papadopolous is injury prone. Played just 4 games this season, not worth the gamble. That Rakitic looks a boss player alright but I've not been that over awed with Koke. Would never want that tit Ashley Cole near our team
I think you are missing the point.
