Babel fucks me off but I think I'd rather see us persevere with him than sign Cole.

Not really, we only have one LB.

Edit: I just remembered Aurelio, althuogh he's played Agger there ahead of him so obviously doesn't really fancy him.

I wouldn't. That's not to say I'm a big fan of Cole or anything, but he's better than Babel, and less frustrating. He also fits our system, which Babel doesn't. Plus there was a period last season where he looked like a top striker. Babel hasn't had a period like that in the three years he's been here, and never will.

It's a bit like choosing your favourite bollock (the right FTR), but I would definitely prefer Carlton Cole deputizing for Torres over Ryan fucking Babel.

Skybet.

I prefer my left.

I'm left footed, so I think my left bollock must be better too.

The right ball as you look at it or as I would look at it, so to speak?
[/quote]

Sorry, I should have been more clear. My right, your left. 😉

It's great today... just watching all those 15% margins buy yachts for leeches while we go under.

Glad we got that sorted.
Tis a feckin' beauty btw.

I fear that if we do have around £10-£12 million to spend, and we dont get anyone, then the money could go to paying off some debt or something to do with the yanks.

I'd love to be a journalist on deadline day. You could have such a laugh.

Iniesta to Stoke
Guthie to Man United, etc, etc.

Liverpool have today confirmed a double deal for youngsters Suso and Adam Hajdu.

Spanish hot-shot Suso - full name Jesus Joaquin Fernandez Saenz De La Torre - impressed for the reserves during the summer and has now completed his move from FC Cadiz on a scholarship agreement - subject to international clearance.

Hajdu arrives from MTK Budapest on a temporary transfer until June 30, 2011. The deal is subject to international clearance.

Hopfully they're not the last players in the door.

Hopefully he'll want to mix it up a bit by signing a short, white, shit footballer.

Although I doubt Lucarse would go there.

Is it weird that none of our youngsters have gone out on loan yet? Or does the loan market close much later?

asmuch as we all want lucas to leave, i just dont think he will. Shattered about babel tho, hope he stayed and cole came in too

West Ham defender Danny Gabbidon on Twitter: "Hearing a shout of Ryan Babel - what a signing that would be!"
