Opening game of next Season then:

.................................Schmeichel.................................

Clyne..................Matip................van Dijk............Milner

..........................Wini....................Can...........................

Mané.........................Coutinho..............Douglas Costa

.....................................Dolberg....................................

Leaders, Workers, Creators and Match Winners galore - even on the bench too.

Karius, Gomez, TAA, Lovren, Kolasinac, Henderson, Kessié, Lallana, Firmino, Woodburn, Origi

That's a squad ready to compete in all competitions as well as for the Premiership crown.

Like it, however, how realistic are Douglas Costa and Dolberg? Danish Pastry dreams there KHL, especially with the two Danes.

Also, if Marshawn Lynch can unretire himself from American Football, you should start a campaign for Daniel Agger to rejoin Liverpool.

On a serious note, all of your players are top notch, just a pity we realistically have a shot at one of them. Kolasinac.

@737Max just said elsewhere that we are DEFINITELY getting Douglas Costa and I know for an absolute fact* we are Dolberg's next destination. Believe. It's all I ask of you.

*It may be a slightly 'flawed' fact but a fact nonetheless.. it is not. It's not a fact. I know nothing. I am like the Jon Snow of 6CM. The Bastard.

PS Daniel Agger has left the building on a very permanent basis.

Why would you not have Lallana in your starting 11?! Hes been brilliant this season.

There's no point replacing Mignolet unless it's with someone significantly better.

Hahaha, nice try. Nah, I dont rate him. Sorry....
No worries, nothing is certain anyways.

I reckon however that he'll make the move to a top 6 club this Summer and he could very well go on and win more trophies there I believe.

He's got that winner's mentality aura and everyone in defense is a little afraid of him really as he screams and shouts and dictates, pretty much like how I like my keeper. A bit mental.

And he rarely if ever makes any mistakes and got a knack for those game deciding saves too. Yeah, I think he could have a good 5-6 years ahead of him as one of the best in the game. Like his dad really.

I agree. Hence the suggestion.

Fair enough if you don't agree, but there's a gulf between Schmeichel and Mingolet in terms of class as I see it.

He has. But I am just not sure he's good enough to be spearheading a team to Premiership glory?

Don't get me wrong I've gone from 'I want him out' to 'I really hope he stay around'. I think he'll be very useful the upcoming season as well, lots of games to play hopefully, I just think we have to look for even better players if we are to take that last step to the top.

I don't think he's a top player. Maybe he'll prove me wrong.

Schmeichel is more consistent than Ming, less prone to errors, better at crosses. Better shot stopper? Debatable.

Out of that XI - who would you drop? Can?
The reason why I included Can is, that I have still got some faint hope that he'll turn into a Dembele/Wanyama clone type of player. He looks to have it in him, to be a commanding yet very skilled central midfielder. Lallana could perhaps also work in that role but not so much alongside Wini I guess, then you'd prob want a more defensive midfielder in the mix too.

And Wini would be one of the first names on my team sheet for the upcoming season. I truly believe we have finally unearthed that ever so important balance-player in midfield. Seems to master more or less all parts of the game, I am not saying he's world class yet, but if he could steadily build on what he already have he could get there. Impressed with him.

Kasper Schmeicel isnt much better than Ming. He might be more consistent and has better distribution but there isnt much of an upgrade there in terms of general goalkeeping ability.
He's got 4 years left on his contract and I dont want to pay 20-25 mill for a goalkeeper that wont improve us much.
Its just not worth it. We've got other needs in the team/squad that needs to be fixed first.
And there are better options elsewhere outside the PL that will be better and more value for money.

Plus I cant for the love of God stomach to see his former Manc ugly dad sitting in the stands at Anfield.

I would love to see Peter's face, at Anfield, when having to cheer on his son after having just watched us winning the Premier League.

That would be pure comedy gold.
