Obviously any game can be a banana skin, but on paper some are tougher than others.
We seem to have games left against all of the relegation fodder, but regards to top teams with top players that on paper should be tougher, this is what us and the people around us have left:

Us:
Chelsea H
Everton H

Everton:
City H
Spurs A
Arse A
Us A
Chesea A

Arse:
Everton H
Scum H

Spurs:
Everton H
Chelsea A
City H

Chelsea:
Spurs H
Us A
Scum A
Everton H

Surely if we keep our head down and keep plugging away, we're either going to get 4th, or end up 1-2pts away from it at most.
Obviously 4th is what we want, but after our ropey start (points-wise), ending up a couple of points off 4th will be a massive improvement in the league over last year with Kenny.

Mors no talk of forth for the love of Jehovah. It's one game at a time because we will not win every game

I think realistically the team to catch if we want any ambitions of 4th place, is Chelsea..
I think Everton wont even be in the mix, Arsenal will be there or thereabouts

A good season for us would be to finish 5th and a Massive improvement over last season

So first we must chase down Arsenal, then if we manage to do that, then look to catch Chelsea

I think 5th is what we can realistically get. We'd have to continue on the form we have to do it, but I think we can.

4th is completely doable. We're only 7 points of it with what, 9 still to play?

Arsenal and Chelsea are dropping a lot of points here and there. So are Everton. Ok, we have been guilty of that too. But we're on a good run. If we can even narrow the gap by another 3 or 4 points, Chelsea and Arsenal will shit themselves because they'll be under pressure to win. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but it's definitely doable. A lot of hard work needed though.

Our game against Chelsea will be clinical.

We have Newcastle away awell. Thats not easy.

Wilshere is injured again, and that will possibly end Arsenals hunt for 4th imho.

I think Chelsea and Spurs have quite tough run-in's with us and the arse having easier ones 'on paper'. I think it's going to end end very close up there, as the teams above us will drop more points than we do, I'm sure of it.

If we had only one team to bypass then I'd think it's doable. However, we'd have to overtake two of Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs(Everton won't be a factor if we are in good enough form) to get fourth and it's highly unlikely as it would require us to pretty much win every game or two of them to hit a really bad patch of form.

I don't really even care to think about 4th. I'm just happy if we keep playing well and winning most matches. We'll see where it gets us.

I'm sure we have to stop talking about forth because we have to just focus on one game at a time. Jaysis

As it isn't just the big games which decide things, here's a full list of the run-in.

Personally, if we do end up in 4th, I think it will be behind Chelsea. Spurs have a tough run-in, and I don't think Arsenal are good enough to hold out. Both will bottle it.

im putting a little bet on us getting 4th, chelsea will continue playing torres and being shit, arsenal have wilshire out for 3 weeks, tottenham will finish 3rd with us 4th and chelsea 5th

Every game against those fighting against relegation will be tough. So none of our remaining games are a given 3 points. We will be 6th at best.

Southampton A, Aston Villa A, West Ham H, Reading A, Chelsea H, Newcastle A, Everton H, Fulham A, QPR H

Those down there fighting relegation are there for a reason, cos they're shit. I'm much rather play someone like southampton, than a team like chelsea with the players they can hurt you with.
I'm confident we'll smash those teams, we have done all season, it's the big teams we've failed to get the points out of. That's why I'm optimistic with only 2 'big team' games left, both at home.

I think the fear of relegation will kick in in the last 5 games, QPR at home and Fulham away will be a very hard games.

I think all those teams especially QPR have already kicked in the fear factor...

Fulham are 10th, I don't see them fearing relegation too much and will probably be safe in the penultimate game.

I also have a feeling that QPR will be safe by the time we play them.
