I can deffo see why it was given because there was contact, but contact isnt a foul. There was no foul at all, they were running together and clipped feet.
I think its really harsh. But the ref had to award it I suppose given how he saw it.
If im being really honest I dont think its a penalty. But i dont really care.
Really not liking this line up. It's not that I dislike any of the players but I hate playing without a real center forward or two, and we've two really good ones on the bench.

Coutinho continues to exasperate. That must be the FOURTH time he's been booked for us by standing right in front of someone taking a free kick. And someone needs to tell him it's no longer a surprise to defenders when he gets the ball on the left and takes it inside with the intention of shooting. And when he has the ball near to the keeper, try hitting it past him instead of passing it right where the keeper is standing!

Lot of negativity on here! We've outplayed a decent team; it was a foul on Firmino (which is why Lamela did not argue the decision) but it might have been outside the box; Matip has looked very good and we should be at least 2 or 3 goals up. The main disapointment is Wijnaldum is has not being involved.

Matip and Mane have been ace. Wijnaldum, Firminio and coutinho have been largely anonymous. 3 flashes of something between them and that's it. We need to make an upfront change not sure who should brought on yet.
