How the mighty have fallen - Has there ever been such a massive and spectacular fall from grace? 50mill! Bwahahahahaha

Weirdly he has played more games for Chelsea than ever did for us (110) only scored 20 goals in all comps though.....

He made Suarez leaving hurt less, that's the only civil thing I can say about him.

The really mad thing about Chelsea paying £50m for Torres is they didn't have to. His clause didn't kick in until the following summer.

@TonyBarretTimes:
Abramovich wanted Torres there and then so agreed to meet the terms of the clause before it was active.

You know what? That's not entirely a bad move for either Torres or Milan.
He may not be the same player he was but a new lifestyle may be just what he need. Plus, he may've lost some pace but will still be quick in the slower Italian league.
Plus, a two year loan is great. Milan get him for two years, give him back when he's older or purchase him for cheaper than they'd get him now if he is a success which I think he will be.
This day marks the end of my Torres hate. I hated him more than any ex-player even more so than Owen. It fucking hurt when he left but I'm over him leaving now and I wish him the best at Milano.

He's finished. His head went ages ago. He just never seemed to get his swagger and confidence back. Bye.

His contract has two left so they are effectively selling him for nothing. This is presumably a mechanism to get his wages sorted without a pay-off and without Milan making a long term commitment.

It's crazy that someone is being mocked for going to Milan.

How the mighty have fallen indeed!

I wasn't mocking him for going to Milan. I was mocking what an absolute disaster he was with Chelsea. Leaving us for those Chav cunts was a real kick in the teeth at the time. That game against us first seeing him in blue made me want to puke. At that time I wished he would be a stupendous failure for them. With this loan deal it appears his time with them is over and the football gods granted my wish. 110 games - 20 goals! Fuck you Chelsea!

I'm with @James - I wish him well at Milan and think he might do ok for them.

Yet another person failing to grasp the extremely difficult logic of a buy out clause.
