Its not a case of if he will get injured but how often and for how long.

We need another quality striker and if we don't get it well then we all know the hard luck stories of big money spending by Utd Chelsea etc... will come to the surface yet again.
 
Why do people worry so much he will get injured? Personally I think he has just been a tad unlucky in his time with us, as he didn't have lots of trouble with injuries in Spain. It would be nice to have a better backup as people have said, but personally I would rather spend whatever money we have left on a quality attacking player elsewhere (Silva PLEASE Rafa!!!).

Ha, but if not...............
I would be very tempted to go for Ruud Van Kneestillsore. In the twilight of his career, would be quite happy to spend some time on the bench, but a great option to come off it. He has, still a fantastic goals/ games ratio. He only played 12 times last year , but scored 10 goals.

Not convinced by RVN myself but he'd probably be a good signing.

I just could never, ever see it happening so I'm surprised it's getting so many mentions on here.
