Torres injured

Yep the Ankle.

Spanish medical team has really fucked us over many times where Torres is concerned.

His injury problems were mostly because of him turning up half fit for Spain and them playing him in spite of all the warning bells.

If we were competing for top honors at club level, we will probably have the authority to just tell the Spanish FA and team management to fuck off...like United so often do with their players.

We were though, and he got injured wither 2 or 3 times for Spain.

If he'd not gone away with Spain that year we may well have won the league.

This is turning out to be the shittiest season in living memory.

For fucks sake....please sack Roy.

What? Roy kicked Torres in the ankle and injured him? Outrageous! Let's BUUUUURRN him...

Torres never got injured before Hodgson.

Fuck off Roy, and take your dangerous training methods with you.

I'm looking out for some good news....and the only possible good news at the moment seems like Roy getting the sack.

Till then, i'm going to blame Roy for everything.

And he's still turning up for international duty

Why on earth?!? It doesn't make sense. They have enough depth to cope and without rest, Torres won't be fit for club or country this year.

Fernando Torres, though, will meet up with Spain’s squad for their friendly against Portugal in Lisbon despite straining his ankle ligament at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

Liverpool’s medical staff have already been in contact with the Spanish FA – who will assess the injury further over the next 48 hours – and further discussions are scheduled.

Mata did not train with the rest of the squad on Monday and the Spanish football federation have revealed that he will miss Wednesday's clash in Lisbon.

Real Madrid full-back Sergio Ramos and Liverpool striker Fernando Torres also missed Monday's training session and are facing a race to be fit in time for the encounter.
