Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

"How do you sleep at night Nandough?"

"On a giant bed of rubles."

He's looking at the ball.

Sad my arse.
Hmmmm.. his demeanour looks a bit 'down'. Hands in pockets, head bowed. Probably is just looking at the ball..

It's a very apt picture anyway.

How many kids did he make cry this weekend?

Kids bounce, they'll get over it. They'll have a new hero soon enough.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Could I have a url for that picture please ?

Jokes will not be appreciated.

Thank you x

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Shock revelation!!
I've been to Tage's BnB, and EVEN SPOKE TO TAGE FOR A BIT!
He is a great guy (and had a really hot girlfriend at the time (imported from Norway LDO)).

So is he going or what?
That's the million dollar question.

MarkMc says still definitely gone.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I doubt theres anyway back for him, its gone way beyond the Gerrard farce.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I hope we have a plan B, and not a panic one either. He's left us right in the shit. We can't rely on just Suarez, like we have done with Torres, especially with him being ineligible for the Europa.

That's really really sad from all sides that picture. Both LFC and Torres. Fucking el Nando what HAVE you done you fucking dope ?
This, word for fecking word.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Asbo; why has this gone further than the Gerrard farce? Seems the same so far to me.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

If he'd retracted his request to leave I doubt he'd be training on his own so now it's most likely a battle of wills between the two clubs over the price.

It's gong to be done tomorrow and Suarez is gong to be viewed as the replacement.
And how the buggery is he going to feel about that, given that playing with Torres was presumably something he was looking forward to?

So we won't get anyone else in then.. If that happens I really don't fancy our chances, unless Suarez stays fit all season and hits the ground running.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Did Gerrard put in a written transfer request?

I thought it was all verbal with him?

Its like more true coz its in writing, its a proper kick in the teeth
Oh well, would of liked him to stay while the summer but if we aint got a back up striker he's fucked us over..
btw would Anelka be able to play for us in europe?

If we know we are selling him tomorrow, we would surely have been looking at our other options again today.

The back up to Suarez options that is? Incase we couldn't get him

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Saw this elsewhere. Says it all really

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I think people are reading too much into him training alone. He simply arrived at Melwood later than everyone else.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

Mark & Jules

That is just my view, I've no info at all.

I've had a fear the Suarez deal will fall through (from the players side) when he realised Torres was off. Even now as the deal has not been oficially announced I'm still nervous.

I dunno mate, the back up to Suarez would surely be in that mould, with the idea being the Torres would play one way and Suarez another. I just hope we don't panic buy, but by the same token, I hope we're not in a position where it's too late to sort something.

I don't want Anelka.

Re: Torres - Chelsea 35mil Bid turned down

I'd sooner take Anelka than not get anyone, and that goes double if the Suarez deal DOES fall through.
