Torres. 595 minutes for Chelsea and no goals.

It feels really really really nice watching him not score, dive, play shit and be a bellend in a cunts shirt. The guardian had some stats somewhere that him and dogtwat have "shared 169 minutes on the pitch and exchanged precisely five passes. And one of those, apparently, was for a kick-off." arrrrrrrrrhahahaha!

I feel sorry for Torres.
We failed him and I know for a fact that he'll be a success at Chelsea.
I really want him to achieve his goals of winning the CL and the league.
God knows he wouldn't have won it if he'd stayed.

NOT.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Ahhh...classic Wayne's world.

Asphinctersayswhat?

But i still think you're a bellend like.

Edit: I did a wink smiley face at the end there but fuck that it looks well queg. But anyway i mean no arl arse in the bellend comment. The winky smiley was meant to like calm your fear but it just looked really shit. So take these few sentences as a winky wmiley face.

Torres is alright.

They all laugh and joke at Chelsea.
[/quote]

Its a fucking fun factory down there. Torres knows being wedgied by Terry every day at training is all part of the great fun.

Don't mean to hijack this thread but I have to ask,

why isn't he scoring?

I don't for a second believe that he's physically fucked or that he never was as good as it seemed when he played for us.

I had this discussion with my bro last night and he said that Rafa built our attack around Torres and Gerrard. I added that it goes to show how much Gerrard influenced Torres.

If Chelsea wants Torres to start scoring they have to change their formation and they also have to find someone that can play behind him. They do have Benayoun but he isn't good enough. Lampard isn't that type of player.

Him and Drogba and Anelka play "Who Has The Best Pout".

Guffaw central.

There's a competition Torres has a chance of winning.

Given the competition, it'll be seen as affirmative action.

Torres doesn't have to score goals at chelsea. it's assumed he'll score them.

Every so often i think abaa that post you did saying "at least chelsea are professional and jokey" and giggle. Good form lad.

Since they're so friendly down there (is it just me, or does Anelka just seem like a really top, approachable bloke?), they'll take turns to win- I can just picture the banter, "you first Nando my old china...", "But surely the turn is yours Didier, good chum" "Its my fucking turn you wank-faced putrid cunt-wallops"

Lucas would NEVER do that.

Agreed. I'd add that I suspect Torres is all over the place mentally at the moment. His confidence has been low for a while, and I'm convinced that deep down there's a part of him that didn't want to leave LFC.

Like you I think it's way previous to be writing Torres off. One day a goal will bounce in off his @rse or something and that'll set him off on a scoring run again.

"Hello, IT Support. This is Mark speaking.

How can I help?""I've tried and tried But I can't find the net."

"Oh, dear. Ok let me take a few details. Your name, Sir?"

"Fernando Torres."

At least we can say we've probably had the best of Torres though, does anyone think he'll ever hit the heights he did in his first season for us?

Class is permanent and everything, but I don't see it.

I do think Chelsea will change their strategy over the Summer though to make him the main (or lone) striker.

I think you're right about what the Chavs will do with regard to Torres. If they do it properly, I think it's too soon to say for certain that he won't get back to his best. He's still young enough for sure, there are still a lot of quality players in that squad and they can strengthen further if they have to.

We built our team around him. I'm not convinced that Chelsea will do that - it would require a huge amount of confidence in him not having lost what he once had, and it would probably mean selling Drogba and buying a proper playmaker and completely changing their shape (which they've already done to accommodate him, with disastrous results). I have a feeling he won't be there all that long. The Barca subs' bench awaits.

Surely a 50M expenditure is some indication that confidence is there?

The confidence of the coach or the owner though ?

I imagine that if Ancelotti is not on board, Abramovich will seek someone out who is.

How to fit Torres into your side isn't the most terrible of problems to spend a summer deliberating over, is it?
