I know you're a Muslim, which is why I think some of the comments/pictures here have been a wee bit over the top and unnecessary. But again, for someone who seemingly has a good grasp on history, there is a 'lil' difference between Hitler and Bin Laden, and just throwing out the term.

With regards to the Bin Laden comments - Brendan is quite clearly taking the piss because of the way you're coming off (and sadly, I've seen some of your 'relaxed' posts and they're fantastic ), but correct me if I'm wrong, you're not calling Oncey a 'Nazi Hitler Wannabe' just to take the piss?

I made a judgement call. I can see from this thread that some agree with it, some dont, some think it was an overreaction, some think it was long over due.
I guess thats what youd expect with so many different personalities.
So. Im not claiming it was the right call, it seems many think not. Im sure there'll be more instances in the future. Thats fine, i cant please everyone.

No, I didnt mean personally, hence referring to knowing someone (relatively & their internet persona). For instance, I know Themn is black, & capable of a high level of intelligence & humour, therefore if he made reference to someone being a ni**er (or even ni**a) I wouldnt immediately ban him, whereas that would be my usual reaction. And no, I have never met Themn.

Yes we should always adhere to soup rules

-I like Ross cos we were on the same page about Keane, Alonso and sometimes Rafa.

- Leave Oncy alone, banning should be (to some extent) at the discretion of the Mods, and should be within the context of the posters. The same rigid rule doesn't apply across the board.

Oh, and I can't *wait* to be 'besties' with Ryan.

I thought the moment we signed Keane we would ultimately miss our best chance in 20 years to win the leauge.

And sadly that was pretty accurate too. What the hell does Rafa seem to buy players without knowing them very well.

He makes the same mistake over and over. Dossena, Degan,the Greek lad, Keane all bought and none would get a foot inside any other top 4 club.
