Just a simple thread, here's mine:

Honourable shouts to Agger, Sterling for early form, Gerrard and particularly Reina for his form in recent months.

No way Gerrard doesn't make top 5, after contributing 9 goals and 9 assists in 36 games. That's the best output from a central midfielder in the league this season if I'm not wrong.

Henderson has shown great improvement and Carra has stepped up when we needed him, but Enrique has been doing the work on both ends of the pitch for most of the season bar the first couple of months.

I'd send sterling and suso on season long loan to somewhere like cardiff or southampton

I know, I know, but Gerrard's in there every year, and by his own standards he's been patchy. I'm being harsh I know but anyway. Enrique is a fair shout, he had an excellent few months and has largely been steady for most of the season, shame our other fullback is still erratic.

I've left out hendo as he's played well as of late and is much improved, but he was a mong at the beginning of the season.

Johnson, Enrique have been great at times, and poor others.
Lucas is slowly getting back to form, and I thought he's been pretty good for the last month or so.
Agger, good and bad.
Downing, miles better than last year, but I think he needs to be better again for us to want to keep
Sterling, great start, and he will hopefully replicate that next season.
Not sure if there's anyone else worth mentioning.

Stevie has been alot better this year but was pretty gash for large parts pre xmas. Wisdom pick of the youngsters for me, done well playing out of position and will be a monster as a cb

Yeah thats fair enough, but there's no way anyone can say that henderson has been better than gerrard this season. And if he hasn't there's no way he can be ahead of him. Henderson has improved this season and has been quite decent, but better than gerrard? Hell no.

I'm not getting the shouts for Enrique. He's been good in some games, but completely shit in others. His passing is still very weak. I still rate the guy, but top 5? Not even close.
