On the plus side, we won't have to put up with Budgie for that long, because he'll get sacked this season anyway. Or maybe at the end of it.

liverpool doesn't sack managers after one season, unfortunately...

Why exactly is it you want Hodgson sacked now Spidey ?
I never wanted roy in the first place.
anyway, I think the reason I am getting a little pissed off is the lack of ambition and the poor ability to influence games we are losing a grip on.
if the manager had a quality CV then you could give the manager the benefit of the doubt regardless of the poor start (like when rafa first arrived) but roy has a mediocre CV and the style of play is pretty much the one he has utilised his entire career, it's all well and good saying roy reached a european final with mediocrity, our priority this season is the league and roy's LEAGUE finishes have been mediocre so the question of improvement isn't a foregone conclusion.
basically the bottom line is with regards to the manager of LFC, is we could and should have done better than roy hodgeson, but he is here now so I obviously hope he turns it around.

So you want him sacked because after having only a little bit of money to spend we're still a lot like we were last year ?
sacked? hmm, maybe a little strong. I mainly want him to show more ambition on the pitch and be more proactive with his subs.
in an ideal world I wanted us to go with a young, hungry up and coming manager with new ideas to shake us out of the lethargy we seem unable to shake ourselves out of.
I'd like him to be more daring too, unfortunately.
HOwever, he did well at Fulham and was regarded as Manager of the Year.
Getting him in wasnt such a shock, even if some people couldnt wait to get the boot in for whatever reason.
Shit game, shit result.
BUt only part of the blame is at his feet, inall honesty.
He played pretty much the strongest team we had; problem is it's shit.
Incidentally, who would have been your choice as manager?
