In 2015, there was a thread on here asking which one PL player we'd like to have in our side. The majority on here chose Matic.

He's been an integral part of two title winning PL sides. Kante's emergence has made people forget him a little, but he's a brilliant DM in his own right.

I'd be annoyed when he moves to United. Mourinho will have a rock solid defensive midfield in Matic, Herrera and Pogba. They'll be very difficult to beat.
 
We have got to squeeze Azpilicueta in there somewhere. He's been excellent everytime i have seen him play, nothing gets past him. Sideshow is also worth a shout.

Defenders always gets underrated in lists like this.
 
I'm wondering what Mane's ceiling is...he could very well become one of the League's best.
 
Dreamy is right, he certainly has been comfortably in the list of top 10 players but not last year. His powers wane.
