OWEN Coyle has fended off speculation linking him with the Liverpool job, and backed Kenny Dalglish to turn things around.

The Whites boss is among the favourites to take over at Anfield in the summer, but says he has not given it a second thought.

“I pour my heart and soul, every second I have into the football club,†he said. “People talk about our players and the club and about the fact we’ve been doing well, but as I have said before, my focus is on the job that I do.â€

Had Liverpool not beaten Bolton twice this season, they would be bottom of the Premier League, but Coyle said of Dalglish: “He’s a great guy and I have got a terrific relationship with him. There’s no doubt as the season goes on, he will get better and better.â€
